To Fox ενημέρωσε ότι δεν υπάρχει μέλλον για το Dollhouse. Η είδηση δεν έρχεται σαν έκπληξη, αφού οι οιωνοί υπήρχαν. Η τηλεθέαση ήταν τραγική, και το έχουν βγάλει από το πρόγραμμα για το Νοέμβριο. Ήδη η ανανέωση της σειράς για δεύτερη σαιζόν ήταν ένα μικρό θαύμα.

Τα καλά νέα είναι ότι θα δείξει και τα 13 επεισόδια που έχει παραγγείλει. Το Δεκέμβριο θα τα δείχνει ανά δύο αρχίζοντας με το διπλό επεισόδιο της Σάμερ Γκλάου, ενώ το φινάλε θα προβληθεί στις 22 Ιανουαρίου. Αν σκεφτεί κανείς ότι τώρα γυρίζεται το ενδέκατο επεισόδιο, τους δίνεται ευκαιρία να φτιάξουν ένα καλό τέλος.

Το νέο έσκασε χθες το βράδυ, και επιβεβαιώθηκε αμέσως από τους συντελεστές. Ο Τζος Γουίντον σχολίασε στο whedonesque

I don’t have a lot to say. I’m extremely proud of the people I’ve worked with: my star, my staff, my cast, my crew. I feel the show is getting better pretty much every week, and I think you’ll agree in the coming months. I’m grateful that we got to put it on, and then come back and put it on again.

I’m off to pursue internet ventures/binge drinking. Possibly that relaxation thing I’ve read so much about. By the time the last episode airs, you’ll know what my next project is. But for now there’s a lot of work still to be done, and disappointment to bear.

Θα μου λείψει το Dollhouse. Είχε προβλήματα, ήταν άνισο, η πρωταγωνίστρια δεν τα ‘λεγε, αλλά όταν έβρισκε ρυθμό έδινε ακριβώς αυτό που ζητάω από τις σειρές μου. Βλέπε Spy in the house of love, Epitaph One, Belonging.
